S/V "Kachina",
A very sought after sailing sloop by Sparkman & Stephens, the Tartan 37 has proven itself as a world voyager. Deep water passages or shallow water, secluded anchorages, this boat covers it all. Sparkman and Stephens designed this yacht where speed and handling were not sacrificed for the most comfortable of cruising amenities.
Kachina was built 1980 and has gone through yearly upgrades to the point that it appears and performs as brand new. The list of upgrades is long. Kachina is ready to sail to anywhere in any conditions with the secure feeling of a sound, rugged, fast and able boat beneath you. The galley has many upgrades which include a Frigaboat frig/freezer with marine keel cooler system. A custom refrigerator with freezer compartment. Low energy use.
3 burner stove and oven. Full hot and cold,
large deep double sink, with spray and soap dispenser.
All new custom Ultrasued cushion covers with memory foam throughout the boat. Large Vee berth, aft and pilot berths with matching pillows.
New Lavac vacuum toilet. Large custom 30
gallon holding tank and new hoses. New Pump out
macerator. Hot and cold shower, inside and in the cockpit.
